It's funny how watching her stand like a wobbly wino has replaced so many other activities in our lives. And there's nothing else we'd rather be doing.

Macey Walks! (While Her Daddy Holds Her Hands...)

We think Macey is just days away from taking her first steps. Even though we know our world will be ROCKED when that happens, we can't help but be a little excited! :-)

Warning: This video is a little longer than the others (nearly 2 minutes) and shaky at times, but if you hang in there you'll hear some hilarious Macey giggles!

Macey's First Black "Eye"

Ok, so really she just has a bruise on her nose, but Macey's First Black Nose would be a pretty dumb title...

Yesterday, Macey was BUSY (as usual) crawling from room to room at my parents' house. She pulled down a basket of books that landed on her feet and immediately began to SCREEEEAM. Crocodile tears and all! As I was wondered how that basket could have hurt her feet so bad, I noticed a bruise forming across the bridge of her nose. Ahhhh, now THAT had to hurt.

Turns out, the basket, which was holding a few large, hardback books, popped her nose on the way down. Luckily, she's a trooper and is still happy as can be--even with a bruised face!

Our Baby Girl is TEN Months Old!

Do you remember way back when...you know, all the way to Macey's 8-month blog post? If you recall, I said these photo shoots were getting harder and harder. HaHaHa! 8-month-old Macey is probably giving 10-month-old Macey high fives for REALLY making things interesting...





That last one is just a fun shot of our messy girl! As always, every day she's a little more hilarious. Whether she's spinning herself around and around or laughing at bubbles, we have a little too much fun around here!

We Have a Wild Child!

Seriously, every single day Macey is a little funnier and a little more of a wonderfully wild child. We are definitely having lots of fun watching her grow! (By the way, I believe she'll be walking any second now!)

Who Let Her Get So Big?!

I think I need to have a chat with someone, because I am quite certain I asked that Macey always stay a baby. I don't know how it happened, but today Macey turned 9 months old! While it is so much fun to see her crawl from room to room (looking back and waving as if she just crawled hundreds of miles away), it is so crazy to think that all of the sudden my child will be in college!

I guess I don't know for sure, but I think it's safe to say that she won't want to cuddle in my lap when she's in college. I also don't think she'll think I'm as HILARIOUS as she does now when she's moving into the ol' dorm.

Lately she's been:

• Crawling
• Opening cabinets/drawers
• Saying "mama," "dada" and a slew of other words
• Clapping lots and lots
  

I think it's safe to say we're having fun with our 19 pounds of pure sweetness!

These photo shoots are getting harder and harder...

We hit the 8-month mark today! Macey is busier than ever--officially crawling (just a couple tiny steps at a time), rolling around and around like no one's business and telling every doll, teddy bear and stranger at Target exactly what's on her mind! Eight months have come and gone in what seems like the snap of our fingers.

Just a few examples of how busy this girl is:

She's 7 Months Old, Folks!

I can't believe it, but seven months ago Greg and I were holding a brand new baby girl in our hospital room. I don't think seven months has ever gone by so fast!

Macey is making us smile a little more each day. Her babbles are starting to turn in to words--at least parts of words. Let's see, we have "Geg" (Greg), "Sey" (Dorsey, I think), "Hey," "Hi" and the occasional "Whoa."

She's also seriously considering crawling, but it hasn't happened yet. Maybe that'll be something new to add to her next birthday post!

Open...Close...Repeat

Greg taught Macey a new game recently. I'm not sure what's funniest about this video. It's a tie between Greg's cute "Daddy voice," Macey's obvious desire to keep the toy computer closed or Dorsey's jealous cameo at the end. You be the judge!
