Welcome to week 33! Only 7 weeks until Easton's due date! Yes, I still think he'll arrive earlier. If anyone saw me walking/waddling around Target this morning, they'd probably bet he was coming sooner than February 16, too!
This was a great Christmas with Miss Macey, even if she had more fun "helping" people open their presents rather than her own. Whenever she would finally slow down to open one of her own gifts, she'd say, "Ooohhh" or "woooow." It was fun! I couldn't help but think over and over again that next Christmas, we'll have two sweet babies to celebrate with!
According to BabyCenter.com:
This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple) and has passed the 17-inch mark. He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. (The pressure on the head during birth is so intense that many babies are born with a conehead-like appearance.) These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.
A pineapple?! Not only does that image seem rather large, but it seems incredibly painful. Here's hoping for a better fruit/veggie comparison next week...
